Simple Gameplay is seeking a full-time generalist game artist to lead the visual development of their hybrid-casual mobile games.
This role requires expertise in 2D and 3D art creation, UI/UX design, light VFX/animation, and integration into Unity. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, works independently, and stays current with market trends.
Prior hybrid-casual experience and familiarity with AI-assisted art pipelines are highly valued.
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Create 2D concepts, key art, and low to mid-poly 3D models and textures optimized for mobile platforms.
Design UI/UX elements including menus, HUDs, and win screens.
Develop light visual effects and animations enhancing game aesthetics.
Integrate art assets into Unity, including prefabs, sprites, materials, and canvases to ensure game readiness.
Collaborate in a remote team environment, manage independent workflows, and maintain high-quality visual standards.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
Strong proficiency with Blender, Maya (or equivalent 3D software), Photoshop, and Figma.
Solid experience with Unity, including asset integration and setup.
Demonstrated ability to produce art ranging from hyper-casual flat styles to polished casual fidelity graphics.
Experience in hybrid-casual puzzle games or related genres preferred.
Comfortable adapting and working with AI-assisted art pipelines is a plus.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Ability to work full-time remotely with CET time zone overlap preferred.
