Art Team Lead (3D)

Walla Walla Studio team is looking for 3D Art Lead to be adviser and mentor for the art team in terms of creating high-quality content. 

You'll create real time 3D models from conceptual idea to production and work to ensure the quality of all 3D models in projects. You should have a strong knowledge about color, texture, composition and visual design, as well as the ability to translate the Art Director’s vision into actionable feedback for the team.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• Act as a direction-providing mentor for a team of artists. 

• Motivate and grow the team and encourage them to group discussions. 

• Conduct regular reviews in order to maintain the quality level according to the style and timely execution of assets. 

• Collaborate with the art director to discuss and implement the preferred art style.

• Coordinate the work of the entire art team to achieve goals and continuously improve the quality of the art team. 

• Help producer to manage the necessary project optimization, evaluate planned assets, set timelines and priorities. 

• Help project managers to assign and manage team individual tasks, supervising their progress on a daily basis.

• Improve the team’s abilities through mentorship of skills, process, and artistic techniques.

• Development and implementation of high-quality studio work practices. 

• Be able to create and manage technical documentation, to spread consistency in working practices both within art teams and beyond.  

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• At least 2 years experience as an 3D lead in game development. 

• At least 5 years experience in game development.  

• Strong understanding of the latest gaming technologies and its direction. 

• Knowledge of Maya, 3dMax, Unity, ZBrush,After Effects, Substance, Blender (or any relevant 3D package). 

• Knowledge of anatomy. 

• Good spoken and written English. 

• Strong esthetic sense, leadership and interpersonal skills. 

• Be self-motivated and self-sufficient, be proactive problem-solver and ready to contribute to the fast growing development of the studio.
