As a Character Artist you will be responsible for creating high-quality believable Sci-Fi 3D Characters for production.

Responsibilities:

• Creation of high-quality, 3D characters and textures

• Sculpt/model, UV & texture, high & low polygon meshes in a PBR pipeline

• Work with the Lead Concept Artist to maintain the high quality with a solid character art pipeline.

• Collaboration with the tech team to help developing character tech and improve workflow

• Modeling, texturing and implementation of real-time characters, creatures

• Track the creation process, identify problems and find solutions

• Collaboration with the Art Director to maintain consistency on the art style

• Identify and troubleshoot problems and provide solutions

• Ensure performance and technical quality of character assets

• Optimization of assets to fit technical requirements

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• 3+ years working in the game industry, specializing in Character modeling

• A portfolio which demonstrates excellent Character Modeling art skills

• Unreal Engine & AA+ game experience

• Excellent knowledge on the game art pipeline

• Ability to manage character creation from concepts to the detailed and finished product

• Being able to adapt realistic sci-fi art style

• Excellent modeling, texturing, UV layout, PBR materials

• Knowledge of character anatomy, clothing, faces, hair

• Solid skills in Maya / Modo / MudBox / ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter or equivalent

• A keen eye for composition, shape, color, and detail

• Great communication skills and also being a team player

• Staying up-to-date on industry trends

• Fluent in English, both verbally and written
