Game Localization Manager

We are looking for a passionate Game Localization Manager to join the development of “Century: Age of Ashes” (https://youtu.be/21T6NuYHo) - a cross-platform game on PC, mobile, and consoles.

The person will be responsible for owning the localization quality of the game in the different languages supported.

На какие задачи (обязанности)?

• Collaborate with the creative team and other relevant stakeholders to improve player engagement through localization quality;

• Provide linguistic feedback and recommendations to reach the perfect quality;

• Translate texts, UI, and marketing assets for our AAA multi-platform game: "Century: Age of Ashes";

• Review in-game, and out-of-game assets to ensure a high-quality experience for players;

• Communicate with Production and Marketing teams and prepare texts for localization to the languages required;

• Use appropriate translation services/tools for localization;

• Check the received translations for compliance with the requirements;

• Proofread in a second or third foreign language.

Какого профессионала ищем?

• Proficiency in several foreign languages;

• 2+ years experience as a Localization Manager / Translator, with expertise in managing multilingual game projects;

• English C1 or higher;

• The second foreign language is at B1 level or higher (Spanish / Chinese will be a plus);

• Ability to clearly formulate detailed instructions, establish priorities across multiple projects, and work on multiple tasks at the same time;

• Skill to apply linguistic talents to assess the quality/completeness of incoming translations;

• Ability to multitask and self-manage projects;

• Able to work effectively in a multicultural team, autonomy;

• Knowledge of management tools such as Jira.
