3D Animation teamlead

As a Team Lead in Walla Walla Studio, you will manage a team of 3D animators. You will estimate, plan, supervise and execute 3D projects. You'll work with your team to optimize workflows and processes, create guidelines that can be implemented in the production process.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Cooperate with Art director, other team leads, project managers to ensure smooth delivery of projects.

• Quality control of own work and other team members, both in terms of technical specifications, as well as client guidelines and visual standards

• Ability to give suggestions to improve pipeline and make work processes more effective

• Coordination and control of animation tasks

• Creation of animations 

• Training and development of animation team, mentoring

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• At least 3 years’ experience in the 3D industry, 2+ years’ experience leading a team

• Desire to develop the animation side of projects

• Ability to communicate, correctly deliver and transmit information

• Strong understanding of animation pipelines and the processes involved, from conceptual phase to delivery.

• Team leadership skills, self-motivation and good communication skills

• Proactive attitude, problem-solver

• Expert knowledge of 3D Max and/or Maya and Vray or equivalent 3D software.

• Experience with game engines (Unity, Unreal, AR, VR).

• Knowledge of body anatomy

• Interest in games and modern technical trends in this industry.

• Desire to continually learn and improve

• Suggesting creative ideas to make animation more eye catching

• Good spoken and written English 

• Excellent portfolio demonstrating the highest quality of 3D animation
