About the Game Our cinematic open-world hero shooter video game takes place on Nebulous Prime, a small planet in the beautiful Stellar Jewel Box nebula. Filled with playable stories, meaningful quests, arenas, and game challenges. Allowing players to freely explore and discover all of the beautiful details as revealed. TEAM IMU creates environments that players can experience in awe, all built on the visual power and performance of the Unreal Engine.

Open-world hero shooter, Art Direction
Your ‘set of fresh eyes’ draw on inspiring Art Direction to lead our active and driven video game project. As Art Director, you will oversee the visual development of our projects from concept to generating the next wave of advanced designs for characters, scenes, game locations and interactive props. You’re an expert at blending shape design, silhouette form, function, color, saturation, visual effects, lighting and structure. You have an exceptional understanding of human and creature anatomy and you know how to simplify and stylize photoreal versions of them to create compelling and memorable characters who express powerful emotions.

Responsibilities
Adhere to digital file management protocols. Create a visual style based on the vision for our projects. Work closely with our artists and designers to develop our look and style. Ability to work remotely online and lead a variety of Artists located worldwide. You will generate each area’s color palette to guide the project’s lighting, mood, and atmosphere. As Art Director you are responsible for the project’s stylistic taste, color, texture, and lighting consistency throughout the game, and public images. Ensuring all artwork consistently meets the project’s creative parameters and complexity level while adhering to its schedule technical function and budget restraints. Collaboration with team leads to develop our visionary “next-gen” hero-shooter. Commitment to innovation, creativity, respect, professionalism, and inspiration.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
Highly imaginative. Ability to multi-task and delegate. Collaborate to maintain visual parity. Manage and monitor all art progress goals. Understanding of Substance and material workflows. Ability to budget and deliver work on time and meet milestones. Extensive knowledge of modeling, unwrapping, texturing and animation. Extremely knowledgeable about the production pipeline from start to finish. Excellent leadership skills inspiring their best efforts to work as a cohesive team. Proven abilities to guide the visual style of the project to and through post-production. Highly motivated, proactive, and solution-minded, with a positive attitude with a solid work ethic. Ability to adopt our procedural textural protocols to achieve greater visual excellence. Work closely with designers and programmers to ensure the successful delivery of our titles.
Overseer and Artist first
You are an artist first, understanding and in charge of public images, making concepts, 3D modeling, leading meetings, procedural texturing requirements, and the animation of our characters, to reveal their characterized action poses and game environment presentations. You will lead the team in creating storyboards from scripts and directing scenes to produce the final content for our serial cinematic projects.
