For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Act as a matrixed team lead to QA engineers, QA automation engineers, working with them on a day-to-day basis to provide guidance, mentorship, and support;

• Planning, development, and execution of test strategies and test plans to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient testing processes;

• Review and provide feedback on test cases, test scripts, and test automation code developed by QA engineers, ensuring they adhere to best practices and quality standards;

• Identify and implement improvements to testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness;

• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate QA engineers on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new tools;

• Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in software quality assurance, test automation, and related domains, and share knowledge and insights with the team;

• Act as a point of contact for QA engineers, addressing their concerns, resolving issues, and fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment;

• Analyse software and quality requirements and document test plans.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• 5+ years experience building test automation;

• 3+ years leading quality engineering teams;

• Provide subject matter expertise in specific areas of software quality, such as test case planning, QA automation, performance testing, security testing, or other specialized domains;

• Experience in the development and evaluation of specialists;

• Technical background in QA, knowledge of the particularities of manual testing of mobile applications or games on iOS and Android;

• Experience with build and test integration tooling including Jenkins, GitLab;

• Understanding of the basics of client-server interaction, object-oriented programming and working with test automation;

• Understanding of testing, development, and release processes;

• Ability to work with documentation: analyzing technical specifications, compiling test documentation;

• Our stack: Asana, Confluence, automated testing in Python. We perform manual testing on a large number of platforms. When working with test cases, we use TestRail, and we track crashes in Appcenter, Firebase, Sentry.
