🎮 About the project:

We are looking for a Gameplay Animator to join the development of an existing single-player adventure game that is part of a globally iconic franchise. The project is being developed for PC using Unreal Engine and is currently in active production. The game focuses on exploration, platforming, dynamic combat, and immersive storytelling. You will be responsible for creating expressive, high-quality gameplay animations that enhance the player’s experience and seamlessly integrate into core mechanics

What are you working on?
  • Genres: Action, Adventure, Platformer
  • Platforms: PC
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Create gameplay-focused character animations that are polished, expressive, and support the game’s mechanics and style.

  • Use hand-keyed animation techniques to deliver high-quality movement and interaction loops.

  • Work within technical and engine constraints, including rig limits and real-time performance budgets.

  • Collaborate with designers, programmers, and producers to deliver animation assets on time and according to project specifications.

  • Test and review animations directly in the engine (Unreal Engine) to ensure smooth transitions and natural integration into gameplay.

  • Communicate clearly with the internal team and actively participate in feedback and iteration cycles.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • 3–5+ years of experience as a character or gameplay animator in the game industry.

  • Strong keyframe animation skills for gameplay elements such as movement, combat, and player interactions.

  • Solid working knowledge of Unreal Engine animation systems, including AnimGraph, State Machines, Montages, etc.

  • Understanding of gameplay needs and the ability to match animation timing and responsiveness to design requirements.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with motion capture cleanup and integration.

  • Familiarity with basic rigging, retargeting, and animation blending.

  • Portfolio or showreel featuring in-game animations, especially those related to combat, traversal, or player-controlled characters.
