We are looking for a new teammate for a Junior Technical Artist who has a passion for creating high quality content for our projects. In this role, you will be part of a team that develops and supports the games engine. 

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Profile game scenes and ensure assets are game ready;

  • Collaborate with artists to integrate assets into the game engine (Unity)

  • Work with other team members to find ways to improve quality standards on the project;

  • Assist in the optimization of content for memory and performance gains;

  • Assist the Technical Artists with the creation of documentation;

  • Help to improve the pipelines and skills needed for the production art team;

  • Streamline modeling, texturing, and visual effects to meet the needs of the project;

  • Document approved 2D and 3D techniques and methods

  • Work with the Technical Artists to identify ways to increase efficiencies in process and production pipelines;

  • Be involved in the development and rendering of artwork, modeling, animation, and texturing when required;

  • Support the Lead Technical Artist with any ad-hoc tasks and duties.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • 1+ years of experience

  • Experience in Unity Engine (is a must)

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;

  • Proactive and results orientated;

  • Understanding of art asset pipelines;

  • Experience with Mecanim system

  • Experience with prefab creation

  • Experience with importing/configuring game assets

  • Ability and desire to fast learn (C#, shaders, VFX, optimizing, render pipelines)

  • Basic knowledge of industry-standard software packages such as Maya, 3DSMax, Photoshop, etc.;

  • Good time management and prioritization skills;

  • Ability to understand and communicate technical issues from an aesthetic point of view.

Would be a plus:

  • Game jams

  • Experience with version control systems

  • Some commercial experience in the game development

  • industry

  • Own projects/demos
