For which tasks (responsibilities)?

As a Junior Technical Artist, you will closely collaborate with a Senior Technical Artist on various aspects of tools or features, combining artistic creativity with technical expertise to ensure the game's visual elements are both aesthetically pleasing and technically sound.

Responsibilities:
- review and manage art assets;
- identify and resolve technical issues with content;
- create, modify, or optimize shaders and materials;
- work on tools within game engines or DCC (Digital Content Creation) software;
- generate procedural content or optimize existing content procedurally;
- write documentation for created tools.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • 2+ years of experience in the game development or other CG industry;

  • 1+ year of experience as a Technical Artist;

  • understanding of real-time rendering, GPU pipeline, and optimization techniques;

  • proficiency in digital art tools like Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, and Photoshop;

  • proficiency in most common game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity;

  • ability to optimize art assets for performance on various platforms (PC, console, mobile);

  • experience with asset management and version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce) to track changes and collaborate with the art and development teams;

  • eagerness to stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to game development and technical art.

    Will be a plus:

  • basic programming skills (HLSL/GLSL, Python, MEL, VEX) to create and modify shaders, scripts, and tools;

  • ability to write and understand scripts for tasks like asset importing/exporting, batch processing, and data manipulation;

  • any specialization (VFX, Animation, Materials).
