The Role

Hello Neighbor is our most famous franchise, including five video games with over 60 million installations. In addition, Hello Neighbor is a series of children's books and graphic novels, an animated series, and its YT show. 

We are looking for a Junior Game Designer for the Hello Engineer project.

Hello Engineer is a physical multiplayer machinery-building construction game set in the Hello Neighbor universe. 

The user can build anything he wants in the game alone or with friends: from racing cars and airplanes to mechanical catapults and self-propelled robots. Share hidden designs, compete with other players in PVP arenas, and many other sophisticated mechanics.

Team size and structure?

~ 30 employees in the team

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Work effectively in a small team in constant communication with artists, developers and producers;

  • You will be responsible for certain core features, levels or areas of the game, manage end-to-end implementation across the team, and contribute to defining the expected quality of the game;

  • Create and implement new game ideas and features for the teams;

  • Time management, assistance in project planning through task evaluation.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • Good understanding of how AI-based games work (Hello Neighbor, Alien Isolation, Hitman, Untitled Goose, etc);

  • At least 2 years experience with UE4 (quest logic implementation, level building, etc.);

  • Experience creating and balancing content, preferably in an AI-based game environment;

  • Understanding of 3D modeling basics;

  • Good sense of gameplay and a strong attention to detail;

  • Intermediate English (written and verbal).

Nice to have skills

  • Experience using AI and general machine learning techniques for game design solutions;

  • Programming skills
