Middle QA Engineer

Whimsy Games is looking for a QA Engineer to join our team.

What are you working on?

• Genres: Action, Adventure, Strategy, Shooter, Casual, Arcade, MMO
• Platforms: Browser, PC, Mobile

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Testing activities performing (functional, UI, cross-browser, performance, regression and smoke testing)
Test documentation preparation (Test cases/checklists etc.)
Test Summary reports preparation
Requirements clarification and processing

What kind of professional are we looking for?

3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance including, preferable in game development
Good understanding of software testing theory and methodologies
Strong test analysis, preparation, and planning skills
Knowledge and skills in requirements testing
Knowledge of different Testing Methods, Test Design Techniques, and Types
Experience with Technical Specifications, Game Design Documents, etc.
Experience with Task Management System (Jira)
Experience with Test Case Management Software (TestRail)
Ability to build and maintain Test Documentation and Reports
Strong critical thinking
High attentiveness to details
Good communication skills
Experience in testing video games and familiarity with Unity is a plus
