Project Manager (Game Production)

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Project Management:

• Create, maintain, and update project schedules, sprint goals, and milestone roadmaps.

• Track progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve bottlenecks.

• Create weekly reports on project progress

Team Coordination:

• Facilitate daily/weekly stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and milestone reviews.

• Act as a bridge between Chinese-speaking and English-speaking team members, ensuring that communication is clear and aligned.

• Help resolve misunderstandings that may arise due to cultural or language differences.

Production Support:

• Collaborate with leadership to prioritize features, balance scope, and define deliverables.

• Assist in aligning creative vision with production reality.

• Gather feedback from playtests, QA, and external stakeholders to help refine the product.

Delivery

• Ensure milestones are met and quality standards maintained.

• Support publishing, marketing, and community teams as the project nears launch.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

Requirements

• Fluent in both Chinese (Mandarin preferred) and English, with excellent communication skills.

• Proven experience as a Producer or Project Manager in game development (PC/console preferred).

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with experience managing agile/scrum processes.

• Ability to work across time zones and coordinate an international team.

• Understanding of the full game development pipeline (design, art, engineering, QA).

• Skilled at fostering collaboration across multicultural teams.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience shipping a PC or console title.

• Familiarity with tools like Jira,, Confluence, et al

• Experience working with bilingual or multicultural teams.

• Passion for indie games and cross-cultural collaboration.
