Senior 2d Artist

Values Value, a recruiting company with expertise in gamedev, is looking for a Senior 2d Artist. Our clients are successful studios with top notch games: f2p casual puzzles and simulators, PC/console shooters, MMO survivals etc. Every candidate can find something interesting for himself or herself. 

What are you working on?

• Genres: Action, Adventure, Puzzle, Role-playing, Strategy, Shooter, Arcade, Casual, MMO, Hyper-casual, Kids Games
• Platforms: Mobile, PC, iOS, Android, Console, VR/AR

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Create concept art for characters and props, collaborating with narrative team

• Draw illustrations required for the project promotion

• Finalize and integrate 2D assets

• Daily management of the character concept team: ensure cohesive leadership, assign tasks, control quality and progress, improve art level

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• 3+ years experience working in the game industry as a lead or senior artist

• Strong professional portfolio with high-quality examples of cartoon-style or realistic  character concept art;

• Skilled in illustration and quick sketcher;

• Deep understanding of game art assets pipelines and workflows;

• Good management and teamwork skills;

• Organize work according to priorities, ensuring deadlines are met;

• Increase the team's skills through mentorship and artistic techniques;

• Work closely with the team, art director, and external partners to ensure that quality is consistent and cohesive;

• Produce art documents, and schedules alongside the Producer in respect of constraints

• Strong sense of responsibility;

• Spoken and written English (Intermediate or higher).
