For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Design and develop the original concept

• Construct level structure

• Creation of GDD - game mechanics, logic, gameplay, balance

• Storyboard the action of the game

• Conceive every game element, including rules, setting, objects, etc.

• Direct action sequences

• Define user interface, menus and controls

• Generate the Game Design Document (GDD)

• Develop early prototypes

• Decide on the devices and platforms on which the game is played

• Define the user experience

• Work with programmers to design the back end of the game

• Research the target audience to understand what they want in the game

• Participate in the development process

• Cooperate with quality assurance testing, and follow up on feedback

• Oversee the marketing and distribution roll-out

• Ongoing development and versions of the game

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in game design, computer science, or computer engineering

• Relevant experience of at least 3 years

• Portfolio of sample projects, with finished and running games

• Creativity - designing the world of the game, characters, storyline, and visual style

• Solid knowledge of the gaming industry, how games work, and the latest trends

• Ability to competently draw up documentation and specifications for development at all stages

• Technical knowledge - understanding the software and systems that bring the game to life

• Focus - the ability to think about the big picture while dealing with the daily production issues that arise

• Mathematical skills to create balance and work with data

• Programming skills will be considered a plus
