Server Developer

Wargaming’s MS-1 studio is searching for an experienced Server Developer who is passionate about game development & loves Shooter genre.
MS-1 is the Wargaming development studio that creates outstanding games for mobile and portable platforms. The team’s portfolio includes World of Tanks Blitz, the award-winning cross-platform shooter with over 120 million downloads from all over the world.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Maintain and improve the existing functionality of the World of Tanks Blitz game server.

• Integrate the World of Tanks Blitz game server with internal services of Wargaming.

• Develop new gameplay and core features.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• 2-3+ year of experience in commercial C++/Python development.

• Excellent knowledge of classical algorithms, data structures and design patterns.

• Knowledge of server technologies, network protocols and databases.

• Fluent English skills (B2 and higher).

• Systems thinking and a high degree of self-organization.

• Experience in server development in multiplayer games and real-time modes.

• Participation in projects for the development of high-load client-server applications for the full development cycle.

• Introduction to mobile development.

• Experience developing on stateful architecture.

• Experience working with Redis Pub/Sub.

• Experience to automate various routines.

• Experience working with AWS.

• Experience working with Asyncio.
