Technical Animator

G-SPACE STUDIO LTD is looking for a Technical Animator to work on an ambitious MMORPG for PC in fantasy style.

This role encompasses pivotal aims such as working with animation blueprints in UE5, creating and optimizing animation state machines, and working in close cooperation with the game designers and animators from the prototype team.

G-Space Studio is a European game development studio. Our company has been developing games and applications since 2011. We work with partners from Europe, Canada, and the USA.

We started as a small team of indie Flash game developers, and now we are a solid studio of game development veterans. We love games and know almost everything about them. We are developing high-quality products of varying complexity, such as MMORPG, AR / VR games, and applications.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

- Creating flexible and optimized animation state machines and blend trees;

- Working with animation blueprints, animation trees, and control rigs;

- Debug and resolve character animation-related issues;

- Rigging in Maya — mGear / HumanIK.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

- Tech Demo / Portfolio

- Expert knowledge of animation state machines in UE4/UE5;

- At least two years of experience with Unreal Engine as a technical animator;

- Physics simulation experience;

- C++ / Python preferable;

- Responsible approach to iterative development, possible feature ownership;

- Experience with complex biped/quadruped locomotion;

- Intermediate English.
