What are you working on?

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Our studio is looking for a Technical Animator to work on many existing and future NPCs in various scenarios. Candidates should have a solid artistic/visual aesthetic sense and deep technical knowledge of animation and programming.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • At least 2 years of experience in the same position;

  • Good knowledge of Python/MEL.

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with animation and motion capture data, animation principles, and body mechanics.

  • Familiar with creating and setting up cloth simulations in UE4/5.

  • Knowledge of game production pipeline and Unreal Engine.

  • Experience with MetaHuman will be a plus

    Responsibilities:

  • Create custom tools and scripts to increase the productivity and efficiency of the animation and character modeling, team. Provide technical support for the tools and engine.

  • Interact closely with animators and other TA/TDs to maintain and improve our proprietary animation tools.

  • Animation assets updates using Maya, MotionBuilder, or Python batch tools.

  • Assist with skinning and rigging of characters, including setups for weapons, and specialized custom rigs in Maya and MotionBuilder or UE5

  • Establishing and maintaining the animation workflow, folders, naming conventions, and engine-related structures.
