HyperVR Games are creating fun and interactive virtual reality (VR) experiences for everyone both in-house and by publishing titles of external studios. Our values are to stay creative, kind and follow your geek passion. 

With the launch of our award winning title “Shave & Stuff” on the Meta Quest and on the Pico stores this year and new titles coming. We are looking for a Technical Artist to expand our team. The artist shall create content for our existing games and will take part in decision making in regards to the visual aesthetics of the future games.

What are you working on?
  • The name of the project(s): Shave and Stuff
  • Genres: Action, Simulation
  • Platforms: VR
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Create 3D content like in-game props, environment elements and characters based on concepts and references;

  • Set up skinning, rigging and blendshapes for character animation;

  • Prepare UV layouts and textures for props;

  • Set up prefabs inside Unity environment based on given instructions;

  • Create custom shaders and materials;

  • Prepare and adjust stylized particle systems;

  • Test game assets inside Virtual Reality.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • Experience and knowledge in character creation pipeline (skinning, rigging and animation skills are welcome);

  • Knowledge of low-poly and cartoon stylized design;

  • Environment and prop modeling, UV layout, texturing skills;

  • Experience in traditional and digital artwork, 2D/3D design, UI/UX is welcome;

  • Use of management tools like Jira, Trello, Git, Notion etc.

Software

  • Blender or any 3D creative software (minimum experience of 2 years);

  • Photoshop, Illustrator (other Adobe software skills are welcome);

  • Unity (understanding of asset preparation for game engine).
