We invite an experienced Technical Lighting Artist to join our team and conquer new heights with us on a big PC/Console AAA project with preferably UE5 engine.
What are you working on?

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
- Collaborate with the art and development teams to create and implement high-quality lighting setups for our video games, films, and other media projects;
- Use a range of lighting techniques, such as global illumination, dynamic lighting, and post-processing effects, to achieve the desired visual quality and atmosphere;
- Optimize lighting setups for performance and ensure they meet technical requirements for different platforms and hardware configurations;
- Troubleshoot lighting issues and work with the development team to find solutions to technical challenges;
- Provide feedback and guidance to the art team on how to improve the lighting in their assets;
- Develop and maintain tools and workflows to streamline the lighting pipeline and improve efficiency;
- Stay up to date with the latest lighting techniques and technologies and share knowledge with the team;
- Find out corner cases for lighting techniques and report them to the team;
- Create test scenes and ground truth solutions for testing.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
- At least 3 years of experience in a lighting artist or technical artist role in the video game, film, or visual effects industry;
- Proficiency in using 3D software, such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Houdini, to create lighting setups;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues;
- At least Upper-Intermediate English level.
It will be a plus:
- Experience with shader programming and creating custom lighting solutions;
- Strong knowledge of lighting techniques and their implementation in game engines, such as Unreal Engine.
