Sixteen Tons Entertainment, developer of the renowned EMERGENCY series, is looking for a Senior Backend Game Developer with a focus on backend development and maintenance, to join its team of passionate game developers on-site in its studio in Berlin or Tübingen.

As Senior Backend Game Developer, you will play a key role in creating high-quality game experiences. You will work closely together with game designers, artists and project managers. While being involved in the whole development process, your key responsibilities will include maintenance as well as further development of existing game backends. Implementing server-side logic for new gameplay features, further development of the in-house live operations platform, as well as assisting with backend infrastructure administration.

Какого профессионала ищем?

• At least 5 years of working experience with a professional game or application development team.

• Excellent PHP skills.

• Good MySQL skills.

• Good JavaScript skills.

• You have no difficulties working with large software projects and understanding existing codebases.

Great to have:

• C# skills

• Experience with Linux server administration, preferably Debian

• Experience with any popular JavaScript UI Framework.

• Experience with 3d game development in Unity.

• Experience with mobile games development and especially free-to-play games.
