Lead 3d Modeller

Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in gamedev, is looking for an experienced Lead 3d Modeller for one of our clients, an enthusiastic young, motivated, and passionate team who share the goal of making the best online MMO Sandbox on mobile devices.

The company is working on an open-world mobile multiplayer online action game focusing on social interaction. They strive to create the best open-world gaming experience inspired by the GTA series.

На какие задачи (обязанности)?

• Working closely with an Art Producer, Art Manager, Concept Artists, 3D Animators, and Technical Artists to create high-quality 3D models of characters, weapons, environments, and objects

• Organization and control of the pipeline for the production of 3D content in a mobile project

• Development, support, and control of the visual style of produced 3D models

• Creation of Highpoly/Lowpoly models of characters and objects in accordance with references and concepts

• Setting tasks, providing feedback, technical quality control, and deadlines

• Solving technical and creative problems in the 3D department

• Control of the final implementation of models in the game

• Drafting and maintaining up-to-date art documentation of the department

Какого профессионала ищем?

• At least 3 years of experience as a Senior/Lead 3D Modeler in the gaming industry

• Strong knowledge of 3ds max/Maya/Blender, ZBrush

• Excellent texturing skills (Substance Painter/Designer, Photoshop), including hand-painting

• Understanding the principles of optimizing 3D content for game engines

• Experience with moderate stylistics

• Understanding of texture baking of high poly models

• Feeling proportions, reading concepts

• Competent work with UVs

• Understanding the PBR pipeline

• Passion for games and knowledge of the gaming industry

• Having a portfolio is a must

Desirable requirements:

• Art education

• Excellent knowledge of anatomy

• Experience with Unity3D, understanding of how shaders work

• Understanding of skinning principles

• Experience with version control systems (Git/SVN)
