Aristocrat Technologies is seeking a People & Culture HR generalist within the MyP&C Global Operations team for a fixed term Generalist scope of services work. The successful candidate will own the generalist tasks including managing employee relations queries .The candidate will have a high level of accountability for achieving operational results within the team.
What You'll Do
Foster positive employee relations and address employee concerns promptly and effectively.
Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve employee retention.
Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and onboarding processes.
Ensure a smooth transition for new hires and provide ongoing support during their initial period. Administer and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.
Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration.
Address employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
Support various HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and enhancing employee experience.
Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in related field with PHR or SHRM certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience P&C business partner or generalist
and communication skills, both written and verbal to effectively navigate sensitive matters and deliver clear messages
Working under minimal supervision, provide effective service, support, consultation and resolution of inquiries and issues through the informed application of company policies, programs, procedures, and federal/state laws.
Proven ability to research information, analyze data, and use sound judgment to draw valid conclusions, prepare recommendations and build plans of action.
Ability to establish credibility, build rapport and create trust in a virtual setting.
Excellent consultative, listening, and verbal/written communication skills; ability to influence, negotiate and convey recommendations and opinions persuasively.
Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive, emotional and confidential situations in a composed, discrete and professional manner.
Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and use time effectively and efficiently.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with department heads, managers, employees, and vendors to resolve problems and negotiate resolution.
