Texture Artist (Characters Team)

Strikerz Inc. is a videogame-creating collective and an international gaming brand launched in 2016 by a handful of people involved with online football. Currently, there are 200+ of us spread over 5 regional offices in various locations across Europe or working from home (yes, we love it too). Strikerz Inc. is the force behind the UFL, the ongoing online football videogame revolution. Being fans, we aim at offering our players an unprecedented gaming experience available on all major platforms.

На какие задачи (обязанности)?

The Character Art team is in charge of creating photorealistic football players’ models. We do not only make new players but always look for modern ways to improve existing models, materials, and textures to provide our audience with the most realistic football experience.

We are looking for a professional to join the team and take on the work with high-quality textures. You will interact with fellow artists and implement new approaches to improve quality, optimize the process, and reduce the load on the system.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a base of skin, hair, and faces textures;

• Refine and improve textures for already created characters;

• Work with photos and ready-made texture maps to create new assets on demand;

• Take photos of faces and their features to create new textures.

Какого профессионала ищем?

• Good communication skills and a team-player mindset;

• Experience as a Texture Artist for a realistic gaming project;

• Portfolio of realistic, high-quality game ready textures;

• Knowledge and mastery of Substance Painter/Substance Designer;

• Experience in photogrammetry workflows;

• Hands-on working skills with Graphics tablet;

• Ability to draw or project realistic hair mats on a 2D texture;

• Proficiency with the Unreal Engine is desirable;

• Experience with PBR materials and shaders in Unreal Engine 4/5 advantageous.
