UI QA Engineer

Strikerz Inc. is a videogame-creating collective and an international gaming brand launched in 2016 by a handful of people involved with online football. Currently, there are 300+ of us spread over 5 regional offices in various locations across Europe or working from home (yes, we love it too). Strikerz Inc. is the force behind the UFL, the ongoing online football videogame revolution. Being fans, we aim at offering our players an unprecedented gaming experience available on all major platforms.

На какие задачи (обязанности)?

UI team is responsible for in-game UX, UI, HUD, UI Sound and connection with Localisation. We're looking for talanted QA who will join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Writing and updating test documentation (test cases);

• Working with documentation and Figma;

• Communication with the team (GD, Designers, Dev and QA);

• Leading and validating defects in Jira;

• Conducting regression testing and validating functionality after changes are made;

• Evaluating and improving UI testing processes.

Какого профессионала ищем?

Skills and requirements:

• At least three years of experience as a QA Engineer;

• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and approaches to software testing;

• Developed analytical skills, attentiveness, responsibility;

• Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset;

• Understanding of basic game mechanics and interface elements such as menus, HUD, inventory, control systems, etc.;

• Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in testing meta-game mechanics related to economy and balance;

• Experience with automated UI tests;

• Experience with tools and software used for video game testing such as game consoles, emulators;

• Game experience with Futsims and other games.
