UI Unity Developer

Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in gamedev, is looking for a UI Unity Developer for one of our clients, Ukrainian studio, an enthusiastic young, motivated and passionate team who share the goal of making the best online MMO Sandbox on mobile devices.

The company is working on an open-world mobile multiplayer online action game focusing on social interaction. They strive to create the best open-world gaming experience inspired by the GTA series.

На какие задачи (обязанности)?

• Work closely with engineers, UX designers, and UI artists to implement features

• Implement UI/UX designs and concepts as performant, modular Unity (UI) components

• Profile and optimize your implementations based on the target platforms limitations 

• Implement, maintain and optimize game in C#

Какого профессионала ищем?

• 3+ years of game development experience

• Master, Bachelor or equivalent in computer science or engineering (desirable)

• Strong programming skills in C#

• Strong experience with Unity.

• Excellent knowledge of UI systems in Unity3D Engine

• Good knowledge about working with 2D assets, animation

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to polish features to a AAA quality

• A base understanding of (UI/UX) design principles, typography, layout, motion, visual fidelity

• Experience of developing unity plugins is big plus

• Proficient in refactoring and optimizing existing systems

• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work efficiently with a large, existing code base

• Good understanding of templates, design patterns and anti-patterns

• Knowledge of software development environments and associated tools. (i.e. Visual Studio, JIRA)

• Great communication skills and a positive attitude

Desired Skills

• Experience with graphics and performance profiling

• Worked with Unity’s Build pipeline

• Understanding of graphics pipeline and having worked with Universal Render Pipeline (URP) and Scriptable Render Pipeline (SRP)

• Understanding of Linear Algebra and Geometry
