Art Generalist (2D/3D)

Our client is a young and ambitious mobile game studio founded in April 2025 by a team of senior professionals with strong expertise in product, marketing, monetization, and game development.
The company’s goal is to build commercially successful hybrid-casual puzzle and word games that combine high-quality gameplay with smart business decisions.
You will join a compact and professional team where every member directly impacts the product. The studio is fully funded for the long term, with stable budgets, no investor pressure, and a mature approach to management and development.
 Location: Global (priority for candidates residing outside Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine)

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

As an Art Generalist, you will create visual content across 2D and 3D formats for mobile puzzle games at early and production stages.
You will work closely with the producer, game designer, and developers to create stylized and readable assets, levels, and animations that support gameplay clarity, user engagement, and monetization strategy.
This is a full-time remote role with the opportunity to influence product visuals from the ground up.

Responsibilities:
Asset Creation

• Design 2D assets: icons, buttons, UI components, gameplay elements

• Create stylized props, characters, and environment elements

• Model and texture 3D low- and mid-poly assets (if applicable)

Level & Environment Art

• Draw or assemble level backgrounds, props, and themed elements

• Prepare visual concepts for level themes and visual progression

• Visualize how the game evolves over time: UI, content, VFX

Production-Ready Graphics

• Export assets in required formats and resolutions

• Prepare structured files: sliced PSDs, layered PNGs, atlases

• (Optional) Assemble assets inside Unity

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with the producer and game designer

• Deliver clear documentation and instructions to developers

• Join discussions on gameplay, visual clarity, and new mechanics

Visual Quality & LiveOps

• Maintain visual consistency and improve game readability

• Apply feedback and polish visuals iteratively

• Create seasonal content, themed levels, and visual updates

Animation & VFX

• Animate UI elements and gameplay feedback effects

• Create simple VFX for in-game actions (explosions, boosters)

• Set up animations and VFX inside Unity (optional)

Що для нас важливо в людині?

Must have:

• 2+ years of experience in game development

• Participation in at least one released mobile project

• Strong commercial portfolio of 2D/3D stylized game assets

• Understanding of F2P visuals for casual/hyper-casual games

• Flexibility in style: from minimalistic UI to soft 3D

• Tools: Unity, Figma, Blender/3ds Max/Maya, Spine or After Effects, Midjourney (or other AI)

• Basic Unity skills, including asset prep, animation, and optimization

Nice to have:

• Experience with sorters, word games, match-3, or merge games

• Experience structuring pipelines or mentoring juniors

• Portfolio with level screens or environmental compositions

• Skills in Spine, After Effects, or Unity Animator / VFX Graph
