Game Designer (Bullet Echo)

Zeptolab is looking for an Experienced Game Designer to join our team!

The ideal candidate is driven, passionate, and excited to take on the challenge of working with Zeptolab's unique portfolio. ZeptoLab games tend not to be just 'another RPG' or just 'another bubble shooter.' As a result, we need a top professional with the skills and drive to take on this challenge. You'll find everything we do, from top to bottom, is markedly different from most free to play studios. Our ambitions and expectations are high, but so are the support, resources, and teamwork provided.

You will be responsible for our flagship mobile game Bullet Echo, a unique top down 2D tactical shooter. We are looking for a professional who will support the product development and accelerate its growth. The game is new to the market and this is a great opportunity to contribute to its development! In this position you will be responsible for creating new game modes and characters, working closely with the product manager, artists and developers.

We have a flat structure, and we give our teams as much autonomy and responsibility as possible, as we believe this is the best way to get the best results. 

This role can be remote or based in our office in Moscow.

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

• Generate new ideas and concepts that fit today's market;

• Creating and balancing game mechanics;

• Work closely with the Product Manager of your team on proposing new features to improve specific metrics;

• Turn those features into documentation and tasks for developers and artists;

• Look into data together with Analyst and Product Manager to see what can be improved;

• Provide feedback to other game designers on their projects, and seek feedback for your project;

• Keep up to date on the state of the mobile industry, trends and inspirational games.

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Game Designer in the gaming industry;

• Experience in developing games for iOS/Android;

• Experience in developing casual games or mobile games, understanding the specifics of f2p mobile games;

• Experience with shooters games, understanding mechanics and audience;

• Level design experience;

• Broad understanding of game mechanics, balance;

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

• Ability to prepare design documentation;

• Ability to work in distributed teams;

• High interest in games, including casual games;

• Fluent in English and Russain language.
