Lead Game Analyst

A multicultural Berlin-based mobile games studio creating story driven casual games is now looking to expand their team! They are looking for a Lead Game Analyst who will join the team in efforts to become the players' choice for story-driven casual games. 

They're looking for a passionate and results-oriented Lead Game Analyst to join and mentor their team. You will develop new insights to shape data-driven decisions, continuously improve their player’s experience, and thereby help them to generate business growth for years to come.

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

• Lead, coach, and mentor the team of talented Game Analysts working together on one of our most successful titles

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders across the company in order to successfully deliver actionable data insights

• Develop an analysis strategy and perform analysis of complex scenarios and AB-tests, both systematically and on a one-off basis. Help your team to define how best to measure and monitor our product and its features

• Initiate and lead projects in light of opportunities & risks emerging from data analysis in order to improve and optimize our players’ engagement / monetization / liveops activities / in-game’s economic balance

• Partner with Data Science and Data Engineering Teams on delivering game specific projects and company-wide strategic data initiatives

• Communicate actionable results and findings derived from data throughout the organization in a clear, concise way to the leadership team

• Be the pro-active owner of the entire data chain for your product

• Be a part of the game’s leadership team and the ambassador of  the Analytics domain in relevant discussions and forums

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

• You are passionate about the discipline and have proven working experience as a data analyst in a leadership role, preferably in the app industry or related field

• You can use SQL effectively and you have some experience using Python or other programming language to manipulate and analyze data

• You have good problem solving skills and can look for logical connections between consumer behavior and data

• You know your way around designing, communicating, visualizing or reporting your results/analysis so they are clear and unambiguous

• Experience in the games industry

• Understanding of behavioural psychology

• Robust understanding of more advanced statistical techniques suitable for analysis of highly skewed populations

• Experience in predictive analytics, segmentation, and related areas

• Skills with reporting tools such as Tableau, Periscope, Mode, etc.
