For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Develop an animation system for player controlled and non-player controlled (NPC) characters in UnrealEngine;
Collaborate with game designers and programmers to ensure the animation system integrates well with the game mechanics and player input;
Create a realistic locomotion system for characters:
Develop character movement mechanics, including walk, run, jump, climb, and other movements that fit the game world and mechanics;
Maintain and improve the animation system and locomotion system over the course of the project.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position, with a strong understanding of game animation systems;
Proficient in C++ programming, with a strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms;
Knowledge of Unreal Engine;
Strong mathematical skills, including knowledge of vectors, matrices, and linear algebra, and their applications in game development;
Experience with animation technologies, including animation trees, state machines, and the ability to design and implement complex animation systems that meet the requirements of the game.
