We are an award winning collectable statues design and production company have been founded in Japan since 2015.

We have branched in gave development since 2020 and we have 2 titles that we are currently working on.

One title is a metroidvania game with pixel art style, we have started the project in 2020 and aiming to release it in 2024. we use Unity engine to develop this game.

The other title is we are currently starting is 3D first person horror sci-fi that is narrative driven and we will be using Unreal engine to develop this game.

We have strong management team with widely spread team almost in every continent, our company culture is based on valuing our members with sense of family, we have one goal which is being successful in everything we do, as our collectable statues that almost all of them are award winning since the first statue we created in 2015, our goal for our games to be an award winning as well.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

The Art Director will have remarkable leadership skills with the ability to share his/her knowledge and be a skilled communicator with excellent team management skills.  He or She will also have to be able to work independently under pressure to produce results under a tight schedule.

The projects in question are for social / casual video games on the iPhone, iPad, tablets, social networks and mobile phones.  As a key member of the development team, you’ll take charge of the initial concept and game design and see it through to final delivery.

 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Defining game’s art style, while complying with the creative vision of the initial art direction

  • Conveying expectations, both in terms of the level of quality and content (backgrounds, environments, characters), to the graphics team ( lead artists, concept artists, environment artists, character artists, animation team) by making use of the pertinent visual references, concept art, production design, and atmosphere materials

  • Developing high standards of quality

  • Supervising and approving work completed by the graphics team and marketing team to ensure that the elements produced comply with the vision for the game, as well as meeting standards for quality

  • Guiding the development and ensuring the maintenance of the flow of artistic tasks

  • Providing guidance and advice to the team, as well as managing freelancers and outside studios, if necessary

  • Ensuring that the artistic framework, schedule and budget are all abided by 

  • Employee management

  • Manage employee’s performance evaluation and disciplinary follow ups.

  • Active participation in recruitment (CV and portfolio sorting; test corrections; interviews; etc.)

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience as an art director, senior concept artist, or lead artist on 3D console/PC projects (games published on steam and concole are an asset)

  • Excellent artistic and technical skill sets (concept art, illustration, high-resolution sculpting/modelling, UI design)

  • Expertise with 2D/3D next-gen production tools (knowledge of rendering engines and of compositing is an asset)

  • Technical expertise with the main graphics engines on the market (knowledge of iOS platforms is an asset)

  • Able to adapt to different management/data-monitoring systems

  • Passionate about video games, with a strong interest for both stylistic and photorealistic art styles

  • Demonstrates mastery of illustration, animation, and graphic design with versatility regarding backgrounds, characters and UI elements

  • Possesses excellent knowledge of the principles behind anatomy and design

  • Possesses a positive track record in terms of developing, mentoring, and managing multidisciplinary graphics teams

  • Excellent knowledge/reasoning when it comes to game development and the realities of production, both from technical and conceptual standpoints

  • Tactful and a strong communicator, able to mobilize and inspire a team

  • Critical with a keen sense of observation, and able to express their ideas

  • Independent, rigorous and equipped with excellent organizational skills
