Art Manager (InGame Marketing)

Strikerz Inc. is a videogame-creating collective and an international gaming brand launched in 2016 by a handful of people involved with online football. Currently, there are 250+ of us spread over 5 regional offices in various locations across Europe or working from home (yes, we love it too). Strikerz Inc. is the force behind the UFL, the ongoing online football videogame revolution. Being fans, we aim at offering our players an unprecedented gaming experience available on all major platforms.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Working closely with the Associate Art Director, you will manage the UFL in-game marketing team, creating high-quality in-game promotional materials such as teasers, trailers, ASO materials, future store graphics, and any materials related to game graphics that are published on behalf of the company. You will collaborate with different departments, including marketing, PR, partnerships, production, and business development

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee resource control, project composition, risk management, task management, and collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient cross-team interactions.

• Manage the art team (10-15 people): build production schedules, track milestones, and oversee workflows to realize the game's artistic vision within technical and timeline constraints.

• Maintain and improve team processes, manage documentation, and implement changes.

• Collaborate closely with the Associate Art Director to break down high-level goals into subtasks, identify and resolve production risks and bottlenecks.

• Regularly update senior management on the status and progress of production issues.

• Collaborate with different departments, including marketing, PR, partnerships, production, and business development

• Develop career development paths for artists and conduct performance reviews for the team.

• Administer staffing decisions that contribute to achieving both the short and long-term goals of the art team.

• Manage team health by supporting skill development, conducting performance reviews, and driving continuous improvement through retrospectives.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an art manager or project manager in the gamedev, CG industry, or 3D production.

• Understanding of the 3D assets production and delivery lifecycle of a feature.

• Experience in process improvement and change implementation.

• Experience in working with production data, including collecting and analyzing team process and task statistics.

• Proficiency in cross-team coordination, with the ability to express your thoughts clearly, stay organized, and pay attention to details.

Will be a plus:

• Understanding the development of game advertising creatives, cinematics, ASO materials, and future store graphics.

• Understanding of the technical limitations and requirements for art in a game engine (especially Unreal Engine).

• Experience in Agile development methodologies.
