We are expanding our Marketing and Communications team, and are looking for an experienced B2B marketing copywriter, with German and English language proficiency. Join us on our mission to protect data privacy and help shape the future of online privacy tech!
As a copywriter with Usercentrics, you will be responsible for engaging audiences by producing content for email cascades, onepagers, case studies, whitepapers and sales collateral.
In this role you’ll liaise with a variety of teams, from getting Sales input, to finding out from Customer Success what customers and prospects are thinking, to learning about upcoming features from Product. All the while you will be ensuring consistency of style and tone in copy and helping us develop the company’s voice and messaging.
Team size and structure?
We are 27 people in marketing, aiming to be a team of 33 people at the end of 2022
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Writing engaging copy for email cascades, optimized for user conversion
Creating collaborative content that drives Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
Writing, editing, and proofreading content projects such as web pages, sales collateral, case studies, sales presentations, onepagers (on our product or on specific features), whitepapers and video scripts
Working closely with the Product, Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships and Apps teams to understand product benefits and meet copywriting needs
Understanding the pain points and needs of our target audience and turning this knowledge into compelling content
Ensuring that all content is consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice
Creating high quality copy with minimum revisions and minimum supervision
What kind of professional are we looking for?
3+ years of B2B writing experience (samples in German and English required)
Excellent English or German verbal and writing skills (C1 or above)
Experience working directly with internal stakeholders, specifically sales or product teams, to understand product benefits and create compelling copy
Good knowledge of B2B Marketing principles
Understanding of SEO optimization
Familiarity with email KPIs such as Open Rate, CTR, Opt-out rate, etc.
