We are looking for an experienced FQA Test Lead to support us with the management and coordination of our video games FQA Test project. If you are a motivated and well organized FQA Test Lead with hands-on experience in the gaming industry, our team wants to hear from you!
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
- Setting up the project documentation and processes to be used by the team during testing
- Handling the distribution of testing builds, media, and tasks to testing teams for FQA testing
- Generation of daily reports to brief clients of testing procedures
- Monitoring, vetting, and evaluating bugs and edits made by testers to ensure proper delivery
- Improving FQA personnel through constant coaching and performance evaluations
- Allocating setups and build installation to prepare teams for FQA testing
- Formulating testing tools to provide more accurate reports and to ease internal FQA procedures, such as report and task templates, checklists, and briefing instructions
- Leading FQA Certification QA passes in console for hardware certification requirements
- Tracking hours daily for client spend reports and invoicing procedures
What kind of professional are we looking for?
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in video game FQA testing, preferably as a Senior tester
- Ability to effectively work with a diverse and multicultural workforce
- Familiarity with the game development process and stages
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the FQA and Compliance testing processes
- Familiarity with the different QA approaches
- Experience with test plan and test case creation and management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Deep knowledge of PC, mobile and console hardware and software
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, TestTrack, etc
- Very strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication and people management skills
- Detail-oriented and with the ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task
- A strong level of English, oral and written communication skills essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills
