For which tasks (responsibilities)?
As a Junior Universe & Level Designer, your primary responsibility will be to assist in creating and fine-tuning the in-game universe.
Your Tasks:
Design and integration of game world elements to ensure a cohesive and immersive X series universe, including regions, gameplay objects, economy, and NPC interactions.
Managing and balancing game data using spreadsheets and XML files.
Ensuring consistency with the X universe lore, design goals, and exploration mechanics.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
Passion for space simulation games and familiarity with the X series.
Detail-oriented mindset with a structured approach to world-building.
No programming experience required, but comfort with spreadsheets and XML is essential.
Understanding of game design principles, particularly regarding exploration and universe-building.
Ability to work independently and focus exclusively on universe design tasks.
What is important for us in a person?
Prior experience with modding, game design studies, or level design is a plus. Ideal for junior candidates, career changers, or those in re-education programs.
