Senior Game Designer

The company is a start-up with two offices in the heart of Budapest, Hungary (the 6th and 7th districts).

We develop games that combine cinema and video games. We continuously develop 4 games in parallel, using Unity and QML. We develop large games which take 2-3 years, and smaller games which take a couple of months (escape games, multi-choices games, etc.)

The particularity of our games is that they always contain video sequences with real actors, whatever the gameplay is.

We have the entire production pipeline integrated into our studio, from pre-production, filming, post-production, VFX, editing, to 3D artists, 2D artists, and developers.

We are looking for a game designer to join our team and assist the lead producer.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

The main mission consists of:

·         Designing the games

o    Contributing to the creation of game mechanics

o    Creating complete game mechanics

o    Testing prototypes with the developers until the mechanics are satisfactory

o    Contributing to the development of narratives and interesting environments

·         Level design

o    Ensuring the proper integration of assets

o    Ensuring that the narrative logic is respected in all created and integrated assets

·         QA

o    Testing the game to ensure the proper implementation of the mechanics

o    Participating in global game testing (UI, UX, asset quality, etc.)

What kind of professional are we looking for?

Required skills:

-          Master in game design

-          Experience in game design

-          Taste for reading and writing are a plus
