Thundermark is looking for a Senior Game Designer to become a feature owner, designing gameplay systems across different studio projects. We are looking for a person who would later take the role of a project lead designer and help us set and uphold new design standards.
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Collaborate with art, development, and leadership teams to ensure features are delivered in time
Create design documentation, specifications, and technical requirements for core and meta-game systems
Review the work of other teams and provide feedback
Evaluate new market trends, features, and emerging technologies to stay competitive
Proactively educate other designers and set the standards for the entire department.
Maintain the vision and scope of the project
What kind of professional are we looking for?
4+ years of experience in game design
Portfolio of successfully released titles
Experience in building and maintaining large systems with broad sets of requirements
Ability to convey the details of complex design structures in simple terms
Ability to build a vision for the game and take projects across the finish line
The active free-to-play gamer who understand the mass market needs and can translate observations into product insights
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Would be a plus:
Practiced mentorship in design teams
Vast gaming experience in RTS and MOBA
Strong technical design skills and experience with Unity or Unreal Engine
