Senior Python Engineer

What are you working on?

• The name of the project(s): UFL
• Genres: Sports, Simulation
• Platforms: PC, Console

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Develop and maintain backend services and system using Python & Go;

• Design, implement, and maintain APIs, with focus on gRPC;

• Write unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability;

• Design and maintain Kubernetes manifests, leveraging Helm for deployment management;

• Work with SQL, specifically PostgreSQL, and NoSql databases;

• Collaborate with other team members to architect and implement robust and scalable solutions;

• Optimize application performance and scalability.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• 7+ years experience in back-end development;

• Experience in Python programming language;

• Strong understanding of network protocols;

• Experience designing APIs, preferably with gRPC;

• Knowledge of unit testing methodologies and frameworks;

• Solid experience working with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL;

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills';

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paces environment.

What is important for us in a person?

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration;

• Experience in managing Kubernetes deployments using Helm;

• Familiarity with GO;

• Background in game development;

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases;

• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community.
