Vivid Games is one of the leading Polish mobile game developers and publishers but also a team of over 70 individuals on a mission to entertain players with great games. We are the first remote company, having an office in Bydgoszcz.

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both front and back-end programming and will join a team working on the biggest title - Real Boxing (the world’s best and most recognizable mobile boxing franchise). 

The primary responsibilities include: designing user interactions on websites, developing servers, and databases for website functionality, and coding for mobile platforms. An important requirement for a Ful-Stack Developer position will be to see out a project from conception to final product. Essential will be good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Team size and structure?

Approx. 20 ppl. Structure: Product Owner, Producer and the rest of the team (artists, programmers, testers, designers etc.)

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Developing front-end website architecture,

  • Designing user interactions on web pages,

  • Developing back-end website applications,

  • Creating servers and databases for functionality,

  • Ensuring responsiveness of applications,

  • Working alongside graphic designers for web design features,

  • Create security and data protection settings,

  • Designing and developing APIs,

  • Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading software,

  • Working with data scientists and analysts to improve software,

  • Mentoring less experienced people, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team,

  • Making well-reasoned decisions and trade-offs within your area of expertise to align the team’s prioritization with company strategy and goals, tying activity back to having business relevance or to product metrics.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • At least seven (7) years of related technical experience, with software design, development, and implementation in a Windows environment experience with front-end technologies and single-page applications (Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript),

  • Experience developing desktop and mobile applications,

  • Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript,

  • Proficiency with server-side technology: ASP, NET, EF,

  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber, or similar,

  • Familiarity with database technology such as MS SQL Server, Firebase

  • Excellent initiative, self-motivation, organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to both drive and follow directions,

  • Great verbal and written communication skills. You’ll communicate well with technical and non-technical team members,

  • Familiarity with Agile Development techniques and involvement in at least one full development cycle from conception and brainstorming through pre-production, planning, production, and finalizing the product,

  • Games as a Service xp,

  • An analytical mind,

  • Willingness to learn new technologies

  • Openness for Unity Engine to work on mobile game features.
