Beatshapers Ltd is focused on creating high-quality and immersive entertainment across gaming consoles, VR/MR and other interactive platforms of the future. Although most of our current projects are behind the closed doors, our portfolio and 26 past console game releases expose our experience in Cloud streaming interactions, Virtual and Mixed Reality.
We are pushing new interactive entertainment mediums up to its limits with new products and new ways of interactions between players. Our core team doing video games for quite a while and we are at Beatshapers one if the first companies who started work with Virtual Reality. Nowadays we continue our deep dive into new mediums by coming to the wonderful world of VR and now working with big names in the entertainment and movie industry.

На какие задачи (обязанности)?

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up assets in Unreal Engine 4; including cloth, physics, blueprints

  • Applying a deep understanding of Unreal Engine 4 animation and sequencer systems to meet the requirements of the game, extend the functionality and suggest new approaches

  • Prototyping animations using Xsens motion capture suites

  • Take animation from initial concept through to implementation in Unreal Engine 4 using our animation blueprint system

  • Experience in high-quality animations for cutscenes and cinematics

  • Assisting with pipeline tools and working with engine and project leads on continuous improvement of those engine tools

  • Understanding of animation requirements for an action game (sharpness, telegraph timings, combat actions timings, etc.)

Какого профессионала ищем?
Qualifications:
  • You have an animation reel showing key-framed character and creature animations
  • Strong experience with Maya and gameplay systems, and at least one shipped title
  • Good instincts for realistic and stylized motions
  • Familiarity with the Unreal Engine 4 art pipeline
  • Related skills; such as modeling, skinning, rigging
  • Experience working with mocap data
  • Ability to create tools and write scripts to help improve the animation pipeline
  • Working together with game designers, concept artists and character modelers on the aesthetic of the movement and gameplay specific animation timing
