Team size and structure?
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Applying a deep understanding of Unreal Engine 4 animation and sequencer systems to meet the requirements of the game, extend the functionality, and suggest new approaches
(Plus) Setting up assets in Unreal Engine 4; including cloth and physics
Prototyping animations using Xsens motion capture suites
Take animation from initial concept through to implementation in Unreal Engine 4 using our animation blueprint system
Experience in high-quality animations for cutscenes and cinematics
Assisting with pipeline tools and working with engine and project leads on continuous improvement of those engine tools
Understanding of animation requirements for an action game (sharpness, telegraph timings, combat actions timings, etc.)
What kind of professional are we looking for?
You have an animation reel showing key-framed character and creature animations
Strong experience with Maya and gameplay systems, and at least one shipped title
Good instincts for realistic and stylized motions
Familiarity with the Unreal Engine 4 art pipeline
Related skills; such as modeling, skinning, rigging
Experience working with mocap data
Ability to create tools and write scripts to help improve the animation pipeline
Working together with game designers, concept artists, and character modelers on the aesthetic of the movement and gameplay-specific animation timing
