Volmi — A Virtuos Studio is a Ukrainian company, part of the global game development company Virtuos, specializing in creating art for games. We cooperate with the gaming industry’s leaders, participate in the creation of world-class projects and continue to grow our talented team.
We’re looking for an experienced VFX Artist to join our team and conquer new heights with us!

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Create high quality real-time VFX assets in different art styles;
• VFX optimization;
• Solve technical, creative and organizational issues within your team and collaborating with other team members.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Portfolio that demonstrates VFX within a released game or game engine;
• Strong understanding of real-time rendering techniques, shaders, physics, lighting, PBR etc;
• Proficiency with 3ds Max, Maya, Blender and/or similar software;
• Good understanding of VFX optimization for real-time;
• Broad range of artistic styles, passion for creating high-quality particle effects and textures;
• Strong core art skills, including an understanding of composition, form, silhouette, color and light theory;
• 3+ years of industry experience.

Will be a plus:
• Knowledge of dynamics and simulations package;
• Scripting experience;
• Never-ending thirst for learning and growth.
