We are working on Project Morning Star, a dark low-fantasy medieval tactical RPG set in a grim depiction of 14th-century Europe. With the lands invaded by the minions of hell, players find themselves tasked with building and leading an order against the arch demons, hoping to free humanity from the scourge that has been haunting it. One of key characteristics of our game is a hand-painted art style (in full 3D!), heavily inspired by paintings of the old masters. We have already achieved it in our enviro and now attempting to push for the same with our characters. Can you help us?

Create high-quality characters, creatures, armors and weapons
Sculpt high-poly models and low-poly topology
Create UVs, textures and materials
Cooperate with the animation team
What kind of professional are we looking for?
2+ years of experience as a Character Artist
Good sense of aesthetics
Modeling skills / retopology / texturing skills
Knowledge of relevant 3D software
At least basic knowledge of Unreal Engine in regards to art implementation
Personal interest in / experience with hand-painted stylized art will be a plus
