We are looking for a Level Artist in our VR Team for the Into The Radius project.
Into the Radius is a post-apocalyptic survival shooter in a mysterious open world full of surreal landscapes and dangerous anomalies. Our portfolio also includes Nitro Nation VR racing and Let It Boom, a fun game about smashing buildings and facilities in a cartoonish world currently being prepared for release on Early Access.
You'll work in a booming R&D area and become part of a great team in the fast-growing VR game market.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
prototyping and designing levels based on concepts, references, and design documents for VR project;
creating levels motivating players to keep playing the game and reach new goals;
working with level blocking and metrics, independent development of the blockout;
assembling locations from ready-made assets, level design of large-scale levels in UE5;
cooperating with game designers and working with the Art Lead feedback;
adding more complexity to the level with an extra narrative, creating points of interest;
improving the existing levels;
maintaining project documentation.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
level design experience: ability to create blockings and layouts, iterate design maps, maintain supporting documentation;
basic modeling skills;
profound knowledge of modern games, excellent understanding of the level design basics and the role of level design in the overall game experience;
experience with game lighting, understanding of the principles of working with light;
+ 1 year of experience in a relevant position, or self-employment in the field.
What is important for us in a person?
good knowledge of the UE5 engine and game pipeline;
professional interest in VR, experience with VR projects;
interest for the post-Soviet environment and games in this setting;
at least B2 level English proficiency.
