International game studio "Eschatology Entertainment" invites a VFX artist to collaborate on creating an AAA-level first-person shooter for PC/Consoles, without F2P mechanics. Our team is made up of strong professionals who have developed and released world-famous games.

We can provide an opportunity to develop and grow in various directions. We have over 50 specialists, not counting outsource and outstaff.

We are looking for new colleagues to join our team.

What are you working on?
  • The name of the project(s): Hardcore Shooter

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Creation of in-game effects from a sketch to final implementation

  • Creating VFX in a realistic style

  • Working with Lead Artist and Visual Director to create complex game and cinematic effects

  • Optimization of VFX assets according to technical requirements

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • 3+ years of AA/ AAA action/ shooter experience in a game industry pipeline.

  • Experience developing effects in UE4/ UE5 Niagara and creating final effects in this system.

  • Understanding animation principles, dynamics, color and other visual aspects of VFX.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/ Adobe After Effects/ 3D effects package.

  • Intermediate English (B1 is the minimum level, B2/C2 better

Will be a plus:

  • Portfolio of games’ effects.

  • Ability to work with the game's direction, accentuation and flow (useful experience in motion-design).

  • Ability to independently understand technical aspects following the example of already implemented tasks.

  • Deep understanding of the technical part of game effects (atlases, batching, effects mechanics).

  • Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine.

  • Knowledge of Houdini and understanding of its integration into UE5 for use in real-time effects.
