About Dreams Quest: Dreams Quest is building the first-ever fantasy role play immersive experience and metaverse-based economy, a self-sustaining DreamsVerse where people will be able to participate in the decentralized play-to-earn RPG game using dynamic NFTs.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• Working closely with the tech teams, founders, writers and designers to bring a collaborative approach to drive out the game design and mechanics

• Creating and/or validating design documents, game balance, core systems and features, prototypes, UI flows, and strategic and meta gameplay.

• Designing game mechanics including in-game currency

• Integrating assets, providing detailed (and proactive) feedback, and taking a hands-on approach to testing, balance, and gameplay.

• Reviewing and balancing implemented features and systems for quality and adherence to the design and business goals of the project.

• Working with technical, art, audio, and production leads to realize the game design vision in a timely manner and within the constraints of its schedule.

• Interacting with the game’s community on its forums and in-game after launch to understand their needs and return their passion and support in kind.

• Enhancing studio knowledge of game development for mobile, desktop and console methodologies and best practices.

• Motivating and inspiring others to generate new ideas/approaches.

• Keeping up-to-date with current and emerging trends in the mobile marketplace.

• Documenting the design approach including both written as well as calculations (where applicable) for game balancing

• Driving the mechanics together in a team approach gaining buy-in and providing both inputs as well as shaping the methods to arrive at a solid game design

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• Experienced and knowledgeable in both mobile and desktop/console game design fundamentals

• Experience with creating games in the Unity engine

• 3-5+ years design experience 

• Experience in working out monetization mechanics

• Comfortable using spreadsheets to create calculations as needed to work out the mathematical aspects of any game balancing

• Experience working with mobile adventure games

• Aware of NFTs and Play to Earn desired but not required
