Lead 2D Environment Artist

Rise of Kingdoms is a mobile MMO real-time strategy game inspired by history. Today the number of players in the world has exceeded 100 million. It is ranked TOP1 in the revenue list of Chinese games which have entered the global market.

And we are looking for a talented Lead 2D Environment Artist to join our team!

• Gatunek: Gry symulacyjne, Gry strategiczne
• Platformy : Mobile, iOS, Android

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• Creation and supervising 2d concept art for environment, buildings and props creation;

• Drawing the illustrations required for the project promotion;

• Team recruitment;

• Daily management of the environment art team: control of  the progress,  art research and development, technology and quality improvement;

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• 3+ years’ experience working in the game industry as lead or senior artist;

• Portfolio with high-quality examples of casual style 2D environment concept art;

• Experience in designing cartoon, realistic and other style scene props (European and American style is prefered);

• Highly skilled 2d illustrator and quick sketcher;

• Good management and communication skills;

• Strong sense of responsibility;

• Deep understanding of game art assets pipelines and workflows;

• Familiarity with Photoshop, Painter and Unity 3D software;

• Spoken and written English (Intermediate or higher).

Bonus points:

• Art school background;

• Passion for SLG games and experience in creating them;

• Familiarity with 3d tools like 3ds max or Zbrush;

• Experience in agile-based/SCRUM development.
