Lead Photo Retoucher

Strikerz Inc. is a videogame-creating collective and an international gaming brand launched in 2016 by a handful of people involved with online football. Currently, there are 350+ of us spread over 4 regional offices in various locations across Europe or working from home (yes, we love it too). Strikerz Inc. is the force behind the UFL, the ongoing online football videogame revolution. Being fans, we aim at offering our players an unprecedented gaming experience available on all major platforms.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

The Meta Players team is responsible for creating important content indirectly promoting the project—Player Cards.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Photo Retoucher who is passionate about football and ready to become part of a team creating player card skins. You will work closely with the Solution Architect, Game Designer, and the entire art team to stay ahead of industry trends, introduce innovative approaches to photo retouching automation, and help the team deliver in-game content that meets AAA-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor current trends in football, sports, and gaming industries to ensure visual content meets modern audience expectations and high-quality standards.

• Collaborate with game designers and database architects to compile and update player lists for current and future seasons, ensuring data accuracy for content creation.

• Search, select, organize, and prepare football player photographs for use in card skins, adhering to project requirements. Develop quality standards for photographs to maintain a unified visual style.

• Provide feedback to team members and external contractors, addressing inconsistencies, maintaining quality standards, and improving the image processing workflow.

• Implement automation tools and optimize workflows to reduce image processing time.

• Inspire the team to create unique and high-quality content.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• Strong proficiency in Photoshop.

• A clear understanding of photo retouching principles.

• A well-developed sense of style and artistic taste.

• Knowledge of trends and technologies, with the ability to adapt them within the project.

• Experience working with large datasets and tools like Google Sheets.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback.

Nice-to-have

• In-depth understanding of trends in the sports/football industry.

• Passion for football with knowledge of the sport’s inner workings.

• Understanding of the game development industry or experience working within it.
