Localization Manager

We’re seeking a Localization Manager to join our Localization department. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in bringing our football games to life for a global audience, ensuring that every user interface text and voice-over script resonates with football enthusiasts around the world.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• Manage the Localization of in-game written content, ensuring it captures the spirit of the game and engages players globally;

• Oversee the voice-over localization process, from recording to final integration;

• Coordinate end-to-end localization projects, from the roar of the crowd to the anticipation of a penalty kick, ensuring seamless execution;

• Utilize memoQ for efficient translation management, maintaining translation memories (TMs) and glossaries for consistency;

• Collaborate with and manage vendor teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables on time and within budget;

• Provide paralegal and accounting support for external teams, ensuring smooth and compliant operations;

• Conduct thorough QA assessments, identifying and fixing bugs to ensure the highest quality of localized content;

• Participate in automation processes, streamlining workflows for greater efficiency, much like orchestrating a well-practiced play on the football pitch.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• 3+ years of experience in managing video game Localization;

• Proficiency in memoQ and other leading localization tools;

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, including Unreal Engine (UE);

• Fluency in English.

Desirable:

• Experience in automating Localization workflows;

• Additional foreign language skills;

• A deep passion for football, with an understanding of its culture, terminology, and global appeal.
