Scopely is looking for a talented Manager to lead a team to inform decisions around our corporate and product strategy. The role is part of the Strategy and Market Insights team, who are responsible for tracking trends and identifying opportunities for future growth opportunities at Scopely.

The Manager, Market Insights will use data to understand the overall gaming competitive landscape, track emerging markets and trends, and identify areas for organic and inorganic growth. They will also help our existing game teams have a better understanding of market trends in order to optimize the performance of their games. The role reports to the Senior Director of Strategy and Market Insights.

What you will do:

• Produce a range of regular and ad-hoc actionable insights on market trends within mobile, gaming, to support decisions around our product roadmap

• Be an expert in the latest trends impacting mobile games, and share insights across the organization to help guide slate, M&A and product decisions

• Partner with Corporate Development, Product Strategy, and other cross-functional departments to deliver actionable insights to the business

• Undertake a range of ad-hoc strategic projects or analysis

• Play a lot of games!

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• 4+ years in strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate/internal strategy or similar analyst role

• Excellent analytical, critical, and strategic thinking skills

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills, able to build complex models and analysis

• Experience combining disparate data points to craft high-level business strategies

• Able to evaluate and quickly leverage new third-party data platforms

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly communicate complex ideas or analysis to senior execs or product leaders

• Highly organized and proactive, with an ability to get work done quickly and at a high standard

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and take on a range of ad-hoc projects

• Able to work independently and take the initiative to solve problems while working with people based in a different time zone

• Prefer candidates with people management experience

• Interest in gaming

• Fluent English language skills
